Ireland's National Police Service Virus is a dangerous computer threat that locks you out of your desktop and then demands to pay a ransom fee that is supposed to set your desktop free, but that will never happen. Ireland's National Police Service Virus will not let go of your computer unless you remove this infection for good.

Ireland's National Police Service Virus removal might present some problems if you have never tried to terminate a computer infection yourself, but it is not as hard as you might think. At least, its better than to suffer this infection and the obnoxious message all the time.

Ireland's National Police Service Virus is a Ukash Virus variant that is marketed to users with Irish IP addresses. There's more than 1 Ukash version intended for Ireland (including An Garda Siochana virus), and the fact that this infection has been rather successful at stealing users' money all over the world should not come as a surprise to you. Just like other versions of this infection, Ireland's National Police Service Virus makes use of official symbols of law enforcement organizations and it makes its message more believable. The message that appears across your screen announces:

RABHADH!
Ta do riomhaire cosc curtha ar sharu ar dhlithe na tire Eirinn.

Daileadh agus storail yavlyaetsya pornagrafaiocht i gcion coiriuil i gcomhreir le hAirteagal (Airteagal 227-23), an Choid Choiriuil na hEuireann. Cuimsionn se priosunacht ar feadh tearma de 2 go 5 bliana.

Chun a scaoilfeadh glas ar an riomhaire, ta tu fineail a ioc. De reir an Choid na hEireann, is ionann €100 ar feadh 3 la.

The message in Irish says that you have breached the laws of the Republic of Ireland, because you have downloaded and stored media of pornographic content. Also it means to say that you might get into a jail for 2 or 5 for what you've "done" unless you pay 100 euro in three days and your computer will be unlocked.
