The speed of your operating Windows system and Internet must have decreased if you have installed the FLV Player from softingo.com. This particular version of the well-known program has been developed by Somoto Ltd., and our spyware researchers have serious concerns about the work ethics behind this company. It appears that Somoto have created the player just to lure Windows users into downloading a number of undesirable and seriously harmful computer programs. Therefore, even though it is stated that the program is a great tool which can help you play web movies on your computer’s desktop, we recommend that you remove FLV Player without further delay. Needless to say, it is more important that you delete all of the programs bundled together with the suspicious application. Want to learn more about the removal process? Then continue reading.

The suspicious FLV Player can be installed on Windows XP/Vista/7 systems; however, this is not recommended because of all the bundled applications. As soon as you hit the Free Download button, you are presented with an installation wizard. Here it is stated that the player is sponsored by search and is 100% free. The information presented is in small print and it is likely that most Windows users will simply press the ‘Next’ button until the program is installed. Unfortunately, this is a big mistake. The wizard forces you to change home page and search provider settings, install the Babylon Toolbar, WebCake, Optimizer Pro and Apps Hat. As you may know already, after the installation is complete, your browsers appear to have been corrupted. The first thing you are likely to notice is that your home page has be changed to start.search.us.com or search.babylon.com. Whatever you do – do not use these search engines because they may expose security backdoors and trick you into visiting corrupted websites harboring malware. You should also be careful about the Optimizer Pro which is a rogue system optimization tool. The scanner it represents is completely fictitious and you certainly do not need to purchase the full version of this rogue application.

If you have installed FLV Player we have no doubts that your operating Windows system is now a real mess. All of the programs related to the player can slow down your computer, disrupt the running of the web browsers, and seriously endanger your own virtual security.
