However, it is very similar to a number of other browser extensions from the same family, and although it is not a computer infection, security specialists do not recommend having SuperFast PC on your computer. Therefore, the sooner you remove SuperFast PC from your system the better, because this application could end up exposing you to a number of potential threats that could seriously jeopardize your system.

However, users can easily download it from its official domain at superfastpc.ourtoolbar.com. It is the common domain for all the toolbars from Conduit group, including WiseConvert Toolbar, Freecorder Toolbar, KeyBar Toolbar and so on. However, SuperFast PC can be also downloaded from third party file hosting websites, or bundled with freeware that is available at a number of pages.

Just like all the other related programs, SuperFast PC also installs a toolbar on your browser, which is compatible with Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and other popular browsers. What is more, depending on which settings you choose during the installation, SuperFast PC can also change your default home page and search engine to search.conduit.com. Actually, if you do not customize installation settings then SuperFast PC will clearly modify your browser settings.

If that weren’t enough SuperFast PC toolbar also comes with Value Apps for Internet Explorer. This application monitors your browsing history in order to collect information the best daily apps. Also, if you download SuperFast PC from the official website, you will also be recommended to install Wajam, which is known as a potentially unwanted application, although SuperFast PC promotes it as a browser extension that “gives you personal results from Facebook and Twitter on websites like Google, TripAdvisor, Amazon and more”.

Despite the fact that SuperFast PC is very far from being a computer infection, any user that is concerned about his/her information security, should seriously think before installing the application. Unsolicited browser settings modification can expose you to a variety of commercial advertisements that display potentially harmful third party content.
