Hit-Buzz is another nasty adware program that threatens to become an annoying part of your Internet browsing experience. Remove Hit-Buzz because it might not only drive you mad with incessant promotions, but also turn out to be a viable threat both to your privacy and your computer system.

Hit-Buzz is an adware application you might come across bundled with many free applications that you can find even on Cnet, Softonic, and other seemingly reliable software distribution sites. Though the sites seem legitimate, it does not mean you should not be vigilant when installing software found there. Do not be too quick to skip through the installation process, always opt for a custom installation, and do not forget to read all the information provided on the installation wizard so that you would get familiarized with the additional unwanted or malicious software that might get installed on your machine.

Hit-Buzz settles down on your computer as an extension to your default Internet browser and installs utilizing tracking cookies. However, there are even more reasons why you should remove Hit-Buzz with the first possible opportunity. In addition to starting to collect specific data about your Internet browsing preferences and technical details of your system, it also modifies browser settings, takes toll on your computer performance, and starts opening advertising material from unsafe websites or suspicious free programs all over your browser.

Hit-Buzz generates promoted material which manifests on your browser in pop-ups, in-text ads, banners, and other forms of online advertising. If you have not deleted Hit-Buzz immediately, it will have enough information about things you enjoy to look out for on the Internet, to generate ads especially for you. This increases the possibility that you will click on one of the promoted advertisements that might mislead you into websites that contain malware. As you see, Hit-Buzz might work as an intermediary between your system and malicious content, and the only way to make sure your are not transferred to unsafe sites during your casual browsing is to remove this adware application.
