PCsSecure is one of the latest computer infections which is targeting PCs and trying to penetrate into them with the help of Trojans. There are compromised web pages which include fake videos. If a person wants to watch such a video, he has to download a specific codec or application update. However, if the user decides to download the codec, he will, in fact, transfer the malicious program to his PC. This he will do even without realizing that he is downloading an infection to his PC.
If PCsSecure enters your system, it will load itself automatically on system start up. After that, it will start displaying numerous pop-up messages. Even if you try to close the annoying warnings, they will continue informing you about serious system errors and computer problems. They will show you the following information:
Spyware Alert! Your computer is infected with spyware. It could damage your critical files or expose your private data on the Internet. Click here to register your copy of PCsSecure and remove spyware threats from your PC.
Security Center Alert! Your computer is being attacked by an Internet Virus. It could be a password-stealing attack, a trojan-dropper or similar.
Not only that, but the fake AV tool will make a scan of the system and pretend to have detected many compromised files. It will say that you have to remove them as soon as possible, but you will find out that you cannot do that without the help of the full version of the application. This is exactly what the malicious program want. It is aimed at tricking you into thinking you need the full version of PCsSecure to fix your system.
Do not be tricked by these empty threats and remember that PCsSecure cannot ensure the safety of your computer. On the contrary, it is a scam tool and it will take your money, and give you nothing in return.
