AV Antivirus Suite is just another fake anti-virus program that belongs to the same rogue family as AV Security Suite. It tries to convince unsuspecting users in its legitimacy in order to gain profit from them. Purchasing this program's licence, however, is the last thing you should do.
When inventing this rogue, hackers have not been very creative. It uses the usual for rogues strategies for deception. It is delivered to vulnerable computers by Trojans, which lie in wait in compromised websites. If they manage to enter a computer system, they immediately invite the phony program inside.
Soon after its installation, AV Antivirus Suite starts a scan of the machine. As a result, it displays a made-up list of infection in an attempt to scare the victims and then prompts them to purchase its fake full version. To consolidate the bogus scan results, it also produces a great amount of fraudulent alerts, claiming that the computer is infected with a number of viruses.
Trying to prevent itself from being detected by AV tools, AV Antivirus Suite blocks other programs, by closing them as soon as the user tries to launch them and displaying a message:
Application can not be executed. The file .exe is infected.
Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?
By "your antivirus software" the message means AV Antivirus Suite, therefor you should not respond to it.
Another of its malevolent strategies is hijacking browsers so that the user cannot view anti-virus websites. Instead, it redirects the victim to advertisement webpages, loaded with other malware pieces. It also modifies LAN settings and enables proxy server, and unless you restore default settings, you will not be able to download anti-virus software from the Internet.
As you can judge by the description above, AV Antivirus Suite is not a program you can trust, but a virus that should be removed immediately with the help of a legitimate AV tool.
