Delete from Windows 8:

  1. Tap the Windows key to access the Metro UI start screen.
  2. Right-click and select All apps (see at the bottom).
  3. Open the Control Panel and click Uninstall a program.

Delete from Windows Vista & Windows 7:

  1. Open the Start menu.

How to remove the search tools?

Remove from Internet Explorer:

  1. Launch the browser and simultaneously tap Alt+T.
  2. Select Manage Add-ons and click Search Providers.
  3. Click the undesirable provider and hit the Remove button.
  4. Click Close and simultaneously tap Alt+T once more.
  5. Select Internet Options.
  6. Click the General tab.
  7. Change/remove the Home Page URL and click OK.

Remove from Google Chrome:

  1. Open the browser, simultaneously tap Alt+F and select Settings.
  2. Under On Startup click Open a specific page or set of pages.
  3. Click Set pages and overwrite/remove the set URL. Click OK.
  4. Under Appearance mark Show Home button, click Change and change/remove the set URL. Click OK.
  5. Go to Search and click Manage search engines.
  6. Choose a new default search provider and remove (click X) the undesirable one. Click OK.

Remove from Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Open Firefox and click the icon on the left of the search box.
  2. Select Manage Search Engines.
  3. Remove the undesirable provider and click OK.
  4. Simultaneously tap Alt+T and click Options.
  5. Click the General tab, change the Home Page and click OK.
