2YourFace Removal Guide

2YourFace is a browser plugin that allows you to achieve video chatting via Facebook. However, despite adding video chat functionality to your Facebook social network, 2YourFace also displays a wide range of commercial advertisements. The browser add-on that has been developed by Outbrowser Ltd has quite a few ways to generate revenue for its creators and affiliated programs. When you have 2YourFace installed, you will see a series of adds displayed next to your search engine results, thus taunting you to click the sponsored links. If you want to avoid being offered links to various deals and online shopping websites, it would be for the best to remove 2YourFace from your computer.

Naturally, 2YourFace is not a virus, but it often behaves like an adware application, because it comes bundled with free software programs and slows down your Internet browser (as it affects Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome). What is more, 2YourFace can install an additional Incredibar toolbar on your browser that changes your default home page settings and you get redirected to mystart.incredibar.com. The default home page will be changed immediately and additional Incredibar add-ons will be enabled.

Although 2YourFace is not a malicious program, you should be careful about what you install on your computer, because it might cause a lot of unwanted redirections, and flood you with commercial pop-up advertisements. Nevertheless, since 2YourFace is not a virus, you can remove it from your computer manually via Control Panel. Also, you need to remove 2YourFace and related toolbars from your browsers as well.

Remove 2YourFace from Windows

Windows 8

1. Right-click the Metro Start screen.
2. Click All Aps button on the bottom of the screen.
3. Click Control Panel and go to Uninstall a program.
4. Remove 2YourFace and Incredibar Toolbar.

Windows 7 & Windows Vista

1. Open Start Menu.
2. Go to Control Panel --> Uninstall a Program.
3. Remove 2YourFace and Incredibar Toolbar.

Windows XP

1. Open Start Menu.
2. Go to Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs.
3. Locate 2YourFace and Incredibar Toolbar on the installed programs list and remove them.

Remove 2YourFace from your browser

Internet Explorer

1. Press Alt+X and go to Manage Add-ons.
2. Remove 2YourFace Add-on and Incredibar Toolbar from Toolbars and Extensions.
3. Close the menu and press Alt+X again.
4. Click Internet Options.
5. Under General tab remove mystart.incredibar.com from the home page section, enter the domain address you prefer and save changes.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Press Ctrl+Shift+A and Add-ons Manager tab will open.
2. Remove 2YourFace and Incredibar Toolbar from the extensions list and close the tab.
3. Click Firefox button and click Options.
4. Under General tab remove mystart.incredibar.com from the home page section and enter the domain address you prefer. Save changes.

Google Chrome

1. Press Alt+F and go to Tools --> Extensions.
2. Remove 2YourFace from Extensions list.
3. Press Settings.
4. Click Set pages under "On Startup".
5. Remove mystart.incredibar.com by click the X button.
6. Enter the domain name you prefer and save changes.
