Alnaddy toolbar Removal Guide

Alnaddy toolbar is a browser plug-in that is a legitimate program. It enhances your Internet browsing experience, but it doesn't change your DNS settings. Usually Alnaddy toolbar displays commercial advertisements to third-party websites. These websites usually have nothing in common with the toolbar itself, and they are only using it, because they thrive on pay-per-click system.

Because of that, some users have complained being unable to avoid the Alnaddy main page, even if they are not using it. Alnaddy main page is set as your default homepage when you install the full version of the toolbar. However, if you install the custom version, you can choose not to make Alnaddy.com your homepage. Even though it is a legal toolbar, your personal data can be used by its creators for unknown purposes. Therefore it is still a cautious toolbar, because you can never know what third-party websites might be using it. If you do not use Alnaddy toolbar, and you want to remove it, you can uninstall it via your Control Panel and then restore your default browser settings manually:

Windows Vista & Windows 7:

1. Go to Start Menu –> Control Panel –> Uninstall a Program
2. Click on Aladdin Toolbar.
3. Click Uninstall.
4. Restart your computer.

Windows XP:

1. Go to Start Menu –> Conttrol Panel –> Add/Remove Programs
2. Click Alnaddy Toolbar.
3. Click Remove.
4.  Restart your computer.

Restoring default Internet browser settings

Internet Explorer

1. Press Alt. The menu bar will appear.
2. Click Tools –> Manage Add-ons –> Search Providers.
3. Click on Alnaddy and click the Remove button.
4. Go to Tools –> Internet Options
5. Click General and then click Use default button or enter the default homepage address you prefer into the address box.
6. Click OK and exit the menu.

Google Chrome

1. Press Customize and control Google Chrome icon at the far right of the address bar.
2. Click Settings --> Manage search engines.
3. Change default search engine.
4. Click on Alnaddy and click the X button to remove it.
