BOO/TDss.O Removal Guide

BOO/TDss.O is a malicious computer infection or a Trojan with rootkit functions that has left a deep mark in numerous computers in Germany. This program is installed into the computer’s boot sector and loads automatically whenever you turn on your computer. The usual symptoms of this infection are the fake German Federal Police (Bundespolizei) warning messages that say your computer is about to be locked, because you have engaged in an illegal activity. The Trojan itself tries to make the criminals’ dreams come true by employing really aggressive means of persuasion – it literally locks you off your computer. However, there is a way to get rid of it.

In order to remove BOO/TDss.O, you need to load your computer in Safe Mode with Networking (press F8 during restart) and download a reliable antimalware program that you can install onto your computer. Afterwards, when you load the program in a normal mode, it will detect BOO/TDss.O and terminate the program at once.
