Remove from Internet Explorer:

  1. Launch Internet Explorer, simultaneously tap Alt+T and select Manage Add-ons.
  2. From the list on the left select Search Providers and locate the undesirable one.
  3. Choose a default search engine, Remove the unwanted one and click Close.
  4. Simultaneously tap Alt+T again and select Internet Options.
  5. Click the General tab, overwrite/delete the Home Page and click OK.

Remove from Google Chrome:

  1. Launch Chrome, simultaneously tap Alt+F and select Settings.
  2. Under On Startup mark Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages.
  3. Overwrite/delete the default URL and click OK.
  4. Under Appearance mark Show Home button, click Change and repeat step 3.
  5. Click the Manage search engines button under the Search.
  6. Choose a default search engine, click X on the undesirable one and then Done.
