Datamngr.dll is a file which will come alongside various unwanted programs such as Bandoo or BearShare MediaBar. The location of this file is one of the folders under C:\ProgramFiles.   1. Open the Start Menu.
  2. Click on Control Panel.
  3. Select Uninstall a program.

Windows XP

  1. Open the Start menu.
  2. Go to Control Panel.

  2. Press and hold down the Alt key and press T.
  3. Select Manage Add-ons.
  4. Click on Toolbar and Extensions.
  5. Disable DataMngr and any other extension if necessary.
  6. Click on Search Providers.
  7. Set a new search provider and remove the unwanted one.
  8. Press Alt+T.
  9. Select Internet Option.
  10. Under the General tab, change the home page to, for example, Google.com and click on Apply.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Press and hold the Ctrl key, then press and hold Shift and press A.
  3. Click on Extensions and look for DataMngr or any other unwanted add-on.
  4. Press and hold the Alt key and hit T.
  5. Select Options.
  6. Under the General tab, change the home page and press OK.
  7. Open the drop-down menu next to the search box at the top of the browser.
  8. Click on Manage Search Engines and remove the unwanted search provider.
  9. Select a new one and press OK.

Google Chrome

  1. Open the browser.
  2. Press and hold down Alt and then press F.
  3. Select Tools.
  4. Click on Extensions.
  5. Remove the unwanted add-ons.
  6. Click on Settings.
  7. In the On startup section, mark the last option and select Set pages.
  8. Remove the unwanted startup page and add a new one. Press OK.
  9. In the Search section, click on Manage search engines.
  10. Remove the unwanted engine and set a new one. Press Done.
