Dosearches.com is not a reliable search engine, and it is most likely that it has been set as your home page or search provider without any of your knowledge. According to the recent research, the malicious infection has been designed to boost traffic to certain websites, which means that you should not expect any reliable search results from it. In fact, all searches are redirected to search.yahoo.com, which is why there is no point in using the tool altogether. Unfortunately, it is not that easy to change the home page and the search provider settings once this hijacker takes over because the malicious infection can reconfigure the Properties of the browser shortcuts. This may seem complicated but it should not stop you from getting dosearches.com removed from Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer browsers.

Have you heard of such vicious browser hijackers as qvo6.com, v9.com or portaldosites.com? All of these threats belong to the same group of malicious infections as the suspicious dosearches.com. As soon as schemers infiltrate the infection using social engineering, drive-by downloads scams, it takes over all existing browsers and you may discover being forced to use a completely unreliable, advert-supported search engine. The developer of this engine is Seablue Technology Limited and it has set out to generate profit, and this can be done in several different ways. For example, the developers can earn money by promoting, boosting traffic to certain websites (e.g. search.yahoo.com). It is also possible to earn money by sharing information collected by active web cookies. Even if the cookies cannot discover personally identifiable information, they can reveal your search history which could be used by third-party advertisers. Have you noticed any interesting pop-ups or in-text ads? This is supported by dosearches.com, so you should not click on them. Note that you should also be cautious with the links to 9hoho.com, games.337.com, and similar sites.

It is recommended that all computer users dealing with dosearches.com browser hijacker immediately install authentic spyware detection and removal software. The clandestine threat can also be deleted using manual removal instructions (see below); however, this cannot guarantee Windows protection in the future. Please click the download button below to install a reliable spyware remover which will also ensure that the operating system is not breached by schemers in the future.

  1. What software was bundled with Dosearches? so that we could be careful

    • Hey Jennifer Nelson,
That is a very good question. We have done a little research and here are few software samples that you should avoid: FBPhotoZoom, ClickDownload, Language Learning, , DealFinder, Yontoo. But it could be a lot more because they are making these type of installers every day. Just be careful when downloading and installing software
