German users lately have been experiencing an annoying attack from yet another ransomware application called Europol Virus. Europol Virus asks you to transfer 100 Euro within 48 if you want to unlock your computer, otherwise your data will be forwarded to the law enforcement authorities and you will be tried according to articles that denote sentences for storing pornography, child pornography and distributing malicious spam messages. However, since Europol Virus is a dangerous infection, it cannot have anything in common with law enforcement authorities. Therefore, do not believe a single word this infection says and unlock your PC to terminate Europol Virus for good.

How to restore desktop access

Windows 8

1. Press Windows key for metro Start menu to appear.
2. Move mouse cursor to the bottom right of the screen.
3. Click Settings and go to Change PC Settings.
4. Select General and click Advanced Startup.
5. Press Start Now and click Troubleshoot.
6. Open Advanced Options and click Startup Settings.
7. Click Restart and wait for BIOS to load.
8. Press F5 to choose Safe Mode with Networking. Press Enter.
9. Go to http://www.411-spyware.com/download-sph and download SpyHunter.
10. Install it and run a full system scan.

Windows Vista & Windows 7

1. Reboot the PC and press F8 continuously until Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
2. Select Safe Mode with Networking and press Enter.
3. Access http://www.411-spyware.com/download-sph and download SpyHunter.
4. Install the program and scan your PC.

Windows XP

1. Follow steps 1 and 2 above.
2. When a confirmation box appears, click Yes.
3. Download Spyhunter.
4. Open Start Menu and launch Run.
5. Enter "msconfig" and press OK.
6. Open Startup tab on System Configuration Utility.
7. Click Disable all and press OK to save changes.
8. Reboot the PC in Normal Mode.
9. Install SpyHunter and launch a full system scan.
