Trying to install fastmediaconverter Codec DCV 2014 in custom mode had so many license agreements that I must of inadvertently declined to install the codec because the license agreement makes no mention of fastmedia or Codec DCV 2014. Even not agreeing to every license the install program did install something called an update package. The only way I was able to find it in \\\'programs and features\\\' of Windows 8.1 was by listing everything by date installed and of course it was the only program installed on today\\\'s date of 8/15/14. I still have no idea if I removed everything that fastmediaresearch installed.
I strongly do not recommend installing this package.
