1. Click on the Start button.
2. Select Control Panel from the menu.
3. Go to Uninstall a program.

Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer and tap Alt+T.
2. Select Internet Options and then click on the General tab.
3. Change your home page URL and click OK.
4. Press Alt+T again and then select Manage Add-ons.
5. Select Search Providers from the menu on the left.
6. Remove the suspicious search provider and then click Close.

Mozilla Firefox

1. Launch your browser and then locate the search provider icon. Click on it.
2. Select Manage Search Engines… and select the unwanted search engine.
3. Click the Remove button and then click OK.
4. Press Alt+T and then select Options.
5. Select the General tab and then type in a new homepage URL in the Home Page section.
