Policajny Zbor virus, affecting users in Slovakia, is a ransomware infection that uses scaring techniques to make profit. The infection locks your computer screen and displays a message, adorned with various badges - those of Cyber Crime Unit, Europol and Internet Police Department.
That is all in effort to make you believe this is a legitimate law enforcement unit that has your computer frozen and that you must pay their “fine”. However, all their claims are just a part of the scam, and instead of believing the criminals, you should delete Policajny Zbor virus. If you were to pay them, you would just lose your money and fund further scams, plus, your computer would remain infected. See an excerpt from the alert:

Ransomware infections, such as Unité Spéciale de la Police Virus and Ministerio de Seguridad Virus, associated with Policajny Zbor virus, travel using the same methods. In this particular case, it is Trojan Urausy infection, spam e-mail attachments and dangerous websites. Whichever did the infection use to get in; you can be sure that it will make its presence known immediately after gaining the access.
Seeing the crimes the criminals accuse you of should make you want to remove Policajny Zbor virus that much more. They state that children/animals/rape pornography and pirated music/videos/software have been found in your machine and that you may have also been distributing those. Then they add that you are suspected of sending mass spam e-mails and hacking top security websites. The criminals cite the supposed punishments, most probably made-up. However, according to them, all can be fixed with a relatively modest “fine”:
Vel’kost’ vášho pokuty je €100 eur.
Jemné môžete platit’ poukážkami PaySafeCard.
It goes without saying that instead of trusting this ransomware, you should remove Policajny Zbor virus as soon as you can. However, manual removal is not the best option if you have not ever done it before – it is quite easy to damage your system while trying to get rid of the infection. Instead, you can simply download an automatic malware removal tool after you unlock your screen and delete the ransomware in the matter of minutes.
