Basically Slovenská Polícia Virus tries to convince you that you have committed a criminal offense related to illegal obtaining and storing of copyrighted material. Thus, the message claims that you have to pay 100 euro within 48 hours, or else all the data on your "crime" will be pass forward to the law enforcement establishment. A lot of users get scared when they see this message displayed across their screen, so they end up paying the money.

However, your money is the thing that Slovenská Polícia Virus wants, and you should NEVER pay a single cent, because your computer will not be unlocked and the infection will prevail. The only way to solve this problem is to remove Slovenská Polícia Virus for good.

If you have Windows 7 and/or Windows Vista:

1. Restart your computer and press F8 while the system boots.
2. When system boot menu appears, use arrow keys to navigate and select Safe Mode with Networking. Press Enter.
3. Access the Internet and go here http://www.411-spyware.com/download-sph to acquire SpyHunter.
4. Install SpyHunter on your computer and launch the program to terminate the infection.

If you have Windows XP:

1. Reboot the computer and before Windows logo appears hit F8 key.
2. Choose Safe Mode with Networking from the system boot menu and press Enter.
3. When you are prompted whether you really want to load Safe Mode, click Yes to proceed.
4. Open your Internet browser and download SpyHunter.
5. Open Start menu and launch Run.
6. Type "msconfig" into the Run box and press Enter.
7. Click the Startup tab on System Configuration menu and click on Disable All button. To save changes, click the OK button and exit the menu.
8. Restart your computer in Normal Mode to install SpyHunter and remove Slovenská Polícia Virus.
