Delete from Windows 8

  1. Move mouse cursor to the bottom right corner of the screen.
  2. When Charms bar appears, click Settings.
  3. Go to Control Panel and open Uninstall a program.
  4. Remove XFinity Toolbar.

Delete from Windows Vista & Windows 7

  1. Open Start Menu and go to Control Panel.
  2. Click Uninstall a program and remove XFinity Toolbar.

Delete from Windows XP

  1. Open Start Menu and click Control Panel.
  2. Go to Add or Remove Programs and uninstall XFinity Toolbar.

How to remove XFinity Toolbar from browser

Delete from Internet Explorer

  1. Press Alt+X and click Manage add-ons.
  2. Click Search providers on the left pane.
  3. Set another search engine as default one, and remove XFinity search.
  4. Press Alt+X again and go to Internet Options.
  5. Delete comcast.net from home page section at General tab and enter a new home page address.
  6. Click OK and restart browser.

Delete from Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click Firefox button and go to Options.
  2. Remove comcast.com from home page section at General tab.
  3. Enter a new home page address and click OK.
  4. Click search engine icon on the left of Firefox built-in search box.
  5. Click Manage search engines and remove XFinity search from the list.
  6. Press OK to save changes and restart the browser.

Delete from Google Chrome

  1. Press Alt+F and go to Settings.
  2. Select Open a page or set of pages under Startup.
  3. Click Set pages and remove comcast.com from the list. Set a new home page and click OK.
  4. Click Manage search engines under Search.
  5. Make default another search engine and remove XFinity search.
  6. Click Done and reboot the browser.
